Day Trip: The Imperial War Museum

After walking around and viewing this body of work, I became in ore of Don McCullen, the images that where on show are very powerful and have great depth to them, as well as impressive visual communication, showing the world what is going on around them, with out these images, with out a man like McCullen we wouldn't get to see such tragedies, such impressive sights.
Some say that he should help the wounded and dying rather than thinking about his image making but in fact by making these images he has help far more than he ever could by tending to the dying and injured.

When ever I go to these places, and see a historical event displayed or exhibited such as the holocoust, or images of a catastrophe I immediately think of the photo opportunities that could be had, this isn't always the human thing to do, to help or think about how one could possibly help out rather than think that would make and impressive image or an amazing piece.
Maybe I should go into photojournalism when I graduate, this does appeal to me, more so now after visiting the exhibit, he images can and do make a difference to people all around the world.
