The F64 group

In the early 1930's Ansel Adams and Edward Weston founded a photography group called F64, the main objective was to show brilliant detail in their images from landscapes to still life.
Using the zone system – a technique for determining the optimal film exposure, allowed Adams and Weston to achieve amazing detail in their images for example the Rose below on driftwood.
